The call for the 1st Edition of the University-Business Classroom Award for Sustainability Management and Circular Economy for the Inclusion of the Sustainable Development and CE Perspective in the Bachelor´s and Master´s Degree Thesis was attended by 5 candidates. This award is funded by the DFG/GFA. After an evaluation process, the Classroom Committee decided to award Julen Manchado Ramos for his Bachelor’s Degree thesis on the Implementation of the SDGs in Biurrarena S. Coop.
The ceremony took place on December 12, 2022, at the Faculty of Economics and Business Gipuzkoa section of the UPV/EHU. The award was given by the commission of the University-Business Classroom formed by: Jose Ignacio Asensio (Deputy of Environment and Hydraulic Works), Igor Álvarez (director of the classroom), Ana Beraza (Vice-Dean Gipuzkoa Section) and Mónica Pedreira (Regional Secretary of Environment).
