Ekonomia Zirkularra is a research group focused on Circular Economy (CE), business performance and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). This group is made up of Teaching and Research Staff from the UPV/EHU of a wide range of areas of knowledge.

Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) were established in 2015 by the UN with the aim of ending poverty, protecting the planet, and improving the life quality of the society. The business world plays a key role in achieving these targets; therefore, this group is focused on the analysis of the impact generated by this agent. From this perspective, the concept of SDG would directly relate to the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility, which is based on the triple bottom line framework (economic, environmental, and social dimensions). The social dimension must be highlighted. From this perspective, the concept of SDG would directly in line with the concept of CSR.

So that these objectives can be met the following activities will be carried out:

Collaboration in the field of Undergraduate and Postgraduate for the generation of talent adjusted to the challenges of the Circular Economy.

Organization of sessions and conferences of interest for the Circular Economy sector.
